Barbi Moon-Theado - Owner

Barbi is an Ohio University grad with a background in business administration and retail management. The original plan with the restaurant was for her to be the office side of things, but plans seldom remain the same. As the business grew and developed, she became more involved in the daily running of the restaurant, with a focus on the events side of things. From serving food in the rain, snow, heat and everything in between, she loves serving our food to the many faces of the Shenandoah Valley. While most of her creativity is expressed through paper, fabric, or paint, she has been know to come up with some pretty tasty food too.

 

Brad Theado - General Manager

Brad is the face behind the smoke. He is a Desert Storm veteran in the Air Force, a graduate of Minot State University, and had a long career in business management.  He always dreamed of owning a restaurant, so in 2015 he was finally able to realize this dream. From early mornings at the smoker in all types of weather, to slow times when he gets to play with flavors and develop new recipes, his love of feeding people continues to grow. He is an avid reader, a constant food tv watcher, and the founder of the Self Proclaimed World's Smallest Pencil Sharpener Museum.

 

Since both of us are originally from Ohio, we are blessed to have found such a loving community in Stuarts Draft. Many of our customers have become regulars and we are humbled that they support our business on a weekly basis. We always love to see people walking through our doors, and always hope we can serve you again, SOONER than later.
